About

The Prototype Laboratory was created in 2023 to help researchers in the development of functional prototypes, in order to validate technologies and increase their TRL, and to facilitate the commercialization of the technologies.

3D Printer FFF

  • Single extruder Revo Hemera XS
  • Direct drive extruder
  • 300°C max nozzle temperature
  • Printing volume 300x300x400 mm
  • Quick swap nozzle 0,25 0,4 0,6 i 0,8 mm

Conventional lathe

  • Insert tool capable of cutting plastics, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, steel and stainless steel
  • Self-centring 3 jaws chuck 160 mm of diameter
  • Independent 4 jaws chuck 160 mm of diameter
  • Drill chuck at counterpoint
  • Ability to machine outside, inside and knurling

Conventional milling machine

  • Carbide tools capable of cutting plastics, aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, steel and stainless steel
  • Drill chuck incorporated in the head
  • Capable of cutting inner threads
  • Gag with optional prismatic lip 150 x 200 x 200 mm
  • Holding flanges up to a volume of 630 x 230 x 300 mm

Tin soldering station

  • Thin tips
  • Adjustable temperature between 100 and 480 °C
  • Hot air gun with adjustable flow and temperature between 100 and 480 °C
